Kalkhoff is part of the world's largest bicycle family: Pon.Bike. We aim to accelerate all our brands by enabling everyone to make data-driven decisions. The BI & Analytics team manages a significant number of dashboards and is currently building a new Pon.Bike data platform. This platform will allow every employee in the organization to access our available data, from both internal and external sources. And you are the one that can make that happen.

Pon.Bike is a globally operating group of brands (including Gazelle, Cervélo, Santa Cruz, Kalkhoff, Urban Arrow, and Swapfiets) that delivers the best bicycles in every market segment - from off-road downhill to urban comfort bikes. We pride ourselves on creating a broad portfolio of innovative products, of the highest quality, and with excellent value for money. Whether you're looking for a connected e-bike, an ultra-modern full carbon racer, or a car-free way to get the kids to school, we have a bike that suits you. Within Pon, people are the DNA of the company, where people have the passion to perform, are given the trust and freedom to work, take responsibility for their actions, and enjoy their work. That's the connection, that's what makes Pon strong. It's the way we interact with each other, our customers, and suppliers every day.

YOUR TASKS

You will build, manage, and innovate - together with the BI & Analytics team, enabling the brands to work more data-driven and quickly adapt to market changes. In essence, you are the hub in the wheel of the Pon.Bike BI & Analytics organization. You will coordinate with the Process Owners, other owners of source systems, and with Product Owners of various front-end and back-end teams of the IT organization. You take the lead in gathering, coordinating, and prioritizing business wishes from various Pon.Bike brands.

  • Setting up and further developing the Pon.Bike data platform and dashboards to align with the strategy of Pon.Bike.
  • Inventorying the wishes and needs of Pon.Bike brands and other stakeholders, and integrating these with your own vision. You turn these into user stories.
  • Co-responsible for establishing, maintaining, and directing the product roadmap, including coordination towards stakeholders.
  • Focused on short-term sprints, with your strategic and technical insight, you keep a good eye on long-term development.
  • Taking the initiative to make proposals based on your analysis on how to improve the data platform or process.
  • The BI Team is an international team working for Pon.Bike Comfort, currently consisting of 2 German and 2 Dutch colleagues. Of course, there is collaboration with partners within and outside the Pon organization. Your stakeholders work for one or more brands (Gazelle, Union, Urban Arrow, Kalkhoff, Focus) or locations (Dieren, Amsterdam, Emstek). A location in Lithuania will be added in 2024. We also expect to expand the BI team in terms of capacity.

You will work in a multidisciplinary agile team, managing and realizing the product backlog. You keep up-to-date with digital and data developments and translate opportunities and threats into concrete actions. You work closely with the Dashboard Owners of the brands Kalkhoff, Focus, Gazelle, and the Process Owners of Pon.Bike.

YOUR PROFILE

  • You are able to empathize with others' interests and understand what is needed to turn stakeholders' wishes into technical to-dos and plans with your agile team.
  • You speak the language of the business and understand the language of the BI architects and Data Stewards in the team at a high level.
  • You are capable of independently developing a vision and effortlessly translating it to your data team, the organization, and users.
