Senior Backend Developer (m/w/d)

Pon.Bike's Digital Development department designs and builds digital solutions for Gazelle, Kalkhoff, Focus, Urban Arrow, and BBB, including consumer websites and dealer portals.

YOUR TASKS

• As a Senior Backend Developer, you'll be part of the Pon.Bike family: the world's largest bicycle manufacturer.
• Working with an enthusiastic team, you'll create a data integration platform that will provide data to all bike brands on their websites, apps, and portals.
• This is part of a shift to a microservice architecture that began a year ago. When building this platform, you'll create "reusable high-performance code" (in Nest.js & Typescript) wherever possible and share it, along with your knowledge, with your colleagues where possible.
• We're looking for an experienced developer with a passion for microservices and API development who wants to contribute to the development of the Pon.Bike organization's 'backbone.'

With 25 enthusiastic specialists and developers divided over four development teams, true A-quality professionals, we're eager to make this structural change a success. We work fully Agile, based on Scrum.

You're a passionate developer who gets energy from building beautiful solutions. You continuously learn and keep a close eye on the community. In addition, you bring the following

• Experience in building microservices
• Extensive experience with Nest.js and Typescript
• Affinity with coaching to support developers where necessary
• You have a keen business sense to find the best solution for customers
• You are eager to drive the team for success and have fun doing it
• You have a good command of the German and English languages, both written and spoken
